For me, it feels good to know that I am grown on the outside, but mostly a child on the inside.

I struggle to understand why. But I know I benefit from not being able to end the childish plague.🥰

My inner child never died. I still love Disney and Barbie and toys and playing pretend...That's why I love hanging around children. I love teaching them and playing with them. The thing is, people my age are too serious. They'll never understand.

This was such a beautiful read. When I read the part about watching the clouds, I almost cried lol. I used to do that, still do actually but not as much lately. Now, my head is usually bent, scrolling or worrying about “adulting”.

This only affirms my post today. It’s pointless, but makes me happy and that cannot be taken from me. I encouraged everyone to give it a try! It’s so refreshing to see you do same Dim!

Thank you for this! I in other past few years have been reviving my inner child, letting her live and being intentional about what she needs. Living out loud and not being afraid to look childish or caring too much about how other people see me. I love swings so I hope on them anytime o see one and can actually spend even five minutes doing it. I went on a cruise and I rode the merry go round it was only me and all the children and I had a time! My next venture is to run outside in the rain and just dance around and be. I became a mom at 16 and I thought I had so much to prove I let life suppress my inner child and now at 45 I am loving the bond I am recreating with and through her. It’s been a real joy and letting her speak and listening has given me back such vigor, joy and pleasure that I don’t know I ever felt.

So thank you for your open expression and understanding.

I can remember walking with some of my Uni mates then and then felt sand in my Crocs. Instead of the conventional remove by hands and shake off sand way, I decided to kick them off my feet into the air and walked into them when they dropped, clean and 'desanded'

I was walking with few friends though. The traffic was very low and the path was a tarred road😂😂

Childhood was so free💎😅
